Crimson Desert Enhanced is Out Now with New Story Content and More Languages

Crimson Desert just got a serious upgrade, and existing players do not need to spend another cent. Crimson Desert Enhanced is now available, bringing new story moments, broader language support, and previous post-launch content into one free update.

Crimson Desert Enhanced is live now

Pearl Abyss has released the Crimson Desert Enhanced update as version 2.00.00. The update is free for everyone who already owns the base game on supported platforms.

The biggest addition is new story material throughout the main questline. Pearl Abyss says players will encounter additional cutscenes and story moments during their journey.

The update also expands voice-over support considerably. German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Japanese voice options are now supported. Players using Arabic can also get Arabic interface and subtitle support. This gives more players additional ways to experience the game’s story.

Existing owners simply need to update

There is no separate purchase for Crimson Desert Enhanced. Existing owners only need to update their game to the latest version.

The update also includes all post-launch updates released so far. That means returning players can jump back in without separately tracking previous additions. New players can purchase Crimson Desert through their preferred platform store. After downloading the base game, they can update it to access Enhanced content.

Pearl Abyss has also published separate instructions for enabling the newly supported languages. The developer points players toward its official language guide for platform-specific steps. The announcement does not describe Crimson Desert Enhanced as a paid expansion. Instead, it remains a free update to the base game.
