If you too are pissed that there isn’t yet an official Youtube app for Windows 8, then you need to look for alternatives. And one of them is Dailymotion, a popular video-sharing website where you can find millions of free videos and even free movies, if you have the patients of watching in parts.

Recently, Dailymotion has also been updated for Windows 8.1, featuring a better player with HD support, a redesigned homescreen and overall performance optimizations. As the description goes, use the Dailymotion Windows 8 app “to search, watch and share more than 20 millions videos”.  You also get to enjoy your videos in HD quality, up to 1080, which makes it look super cool especially on a tablet.

You have at your disposal a very large and diversified library containing videos on topics such as News, Sports, Music, Movies, Video Games and more. You also can share videos and pin to your Windows 8 start screen users, playlists, groups and channels to get notifications and easily access them with a single tap.

What has surprised me is that there were no ads at all inside the Dailymotion app for Windows 8, which is definitely an awesome thing. Follow the link from below to download and install Dailymotion on your Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or Windows RT device.
