DICE Awards 2026 Nominees Out; Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 & Ghost of Yōtei Lead

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has officially announced the nominees for the 29th annual DICE Awards. Ghost of Yōtei and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 grabbed eight nominations, including Game of the Year, featuring the most-nominated titles of the year.

Arc Raiders and Dispatch secured six nominations each, while Blue Prince was featured in five. Unlike the Game Awards, which are voted on by critics and the public, the DICE Awards are decided by industry professionals. That being said, the choices often overlap; eight of the last eleven Game of the Year winners matched between the two events.

Notably, Hollow Knight: Silksong, despite its fan-favorite status and five nominations at The Game Awards 2025, only picked up a single nomination here, for Adventure Game of the Year.

The DICE Awards ceremony is scheduled for February 12 at 8 p.m. PST and will be livestreamed by IGN. Greg Miller, founder of Kinda Funny Games, and media personality Stella Chung will return as co-hosts.

The event will cover 23 categories, honoring games that professional developers loved in 2025. Expect to see everything from action and adventure to RPGs, indie, mobile, and immersive reality titles.
