How To Create a Discord Account

Here are the steps for both devices:

On Desktop

Follow these instructions:

1. Visit the official Discord website and tap the Login button in the top right corner.

2. Click Register.

3. Fill in the required details and tap Continue.

4. You’ll be asked to confirm if you’re a human. Tick the box “I am human” and follow the instructions.

5. You can create your first Discord server or select an available one. Alternatively, skip it by tapping the cancel button.

6. Your account will be ready for use.

On Mobile

The process is similar, with some slight differences:

1. If you still don’t have the app, go to the App Store/Google Play Store, download and install it.
2. Launch the app and tap Register.

3. Add your phone number or email, then tap Next.

4. Confirm you’re human by tapping Confirm and following the instructions.

5. A confirmation code will be sent. Add the digits, then click Verify.

6. Add your display name and tap Next. You can also skip the step. 

7. If you skip step 6, Discord will suggest a username. Create a password or use the suggested one and click Next.

8. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.
