FIFA 21 is the latest in a long line of football manager games developed by EA Sports, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts.
Like every year, the hype grows as the game release date draws closer and closer, and pre-orders and early-access is something that everyone wants.
Well, that seems to be a problem this year since many FIFA 21 players reported that they are having a problem accessing the 10-hour trial of FIFA 21:
Hi I’m trying to download the 10 hour access so I can play it today at 4 when it’s released but when I search it up on my Xbox on ea play I can’t find fifa 21 can you help please so I can play the 10 hour access
Apparently, the problem itself is that the 10-hour trial doesn’t seem to appear on the EA Play gaming library, so naturally, players can’t access it.
We’ve researched the matter even further and have found a solution to this problem that has also been recommended by EA technical support as well.

How do I install the FIFA 21 trial without EA Play?
- Go to the FIFA 21 Microsoft Store page
- Log into your Microsoft/Xbox account
- The account needs to have an EA Play Console subscription and has pre-ordered or pre-installed FIFA 21.
- Scroll down the page and click on the Free Trial with EA Play button
- If you are taken to the EA Play subscription page, navigate back to the FIFA 21 Xbox One page
- The Free Trial with EA Play button should now be labeled Install on my devices
- Press Install on my devices
- Press the (…) button next to the Install on my devices button
- Click on Free Trial
- If FIFA 21 is not installed on your console, simply follow the on-screen instructions to download it
- If FIFA 21 is installed on your console, you should be able to launch and play the 10-hour trial without any issue
- Restart your console to apply the changes
By following these steps, you should be able to install the FIFA 21 10-hour trial without having to rely on the EA Play app.
