Four Xbox Game Pass Titles Slated for This Year Just Revealed Fresh Gameplay
Microsoft’s 2026 Xbox Game Pass lineup is starting to take shape, with four major upcoming titles recently getting their fresh gameplay trailers days and months ahead of dropping into the gaming service. While three of the games are still scheduled to release later this year, one of them is right around the corner.
The one just around the corner is Planet of Lana: Children of the Leaf, which is set to launch on March 5, 2026. The sequel reportedly builds on the cinematic platforming and painterly art style that defined the original, once again blending puzzle-solving with side-scrolling exploration. The game is set to launch on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch.
Besides Planet of Lana 2, three other Game Pass-bound titles also received gameplay trailers. Aphelion, from Don’t Nod, appears to revolve around the narrative-driven exploration in a sci-fi setting. Here’s how Don’t Nodd details Aphelion:
“Aphelion is a cinematic third-person action-adventure set on the planet Persephone, an uncharted, frozen world. Stranded and isolated, you must survive the truly unknown, find each other, and complete the mission. Traverse stunning alien landscapes, avoid lurking threats, and discover the haunting secrets buried beneath the ice.”
Awaysis introduces a stylized fantasy world with action-oriented combat, while Denshattack! seems to take a more arcade-inspired approach with bold visuals and fast gameplay.
All four games are confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in 2026, though only Planet of Lana: Children of the Leaf has a concrete release date so far. As mentioned earlier, the remaining titles are currently slated for later this year.
