Free Graveyard Keeper Game up for Grabs Before the New Sequel Drops

Graveyard Keeper giveaway

Lazy Bear Games is letting everyone jump into its popular cemetery management game, Graveyard Keeper, for free right now. If you have been waiting to try out this quirky title, the developer has made it available at no cost across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. The studio launched this massive giveaway to build up excitement for a good reason, as it just announced a brand new sequel arriving later this year.

The original Graveyard Keeper, which first came out in 2018, takes heavy inspiration from farming games like Stardew Valley. But instead of growing crops, you manage a medieval graveyard. You have to handle weird ethical choices and complete quests for the local villagers. You can claim your free copy on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation stores until April 13.

What to expect from the Graveyard Keeper 2

As for the future, Graveyard Keeper 2 is officially in the works and is scheduled for a 2026 release. It plans to launch on PC, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch systems. The sequel changes things up significantly by putting you in the shoes of the Grand Inquisitor. Your new job involves saving the entire kingdom from an approaching zombie apocalypse.

The new game leans heavily into fantasy elements. You will build an army of the undead, automate production using zombies, and fight to protect the town. While the graveyard management aspect is still there, your main goal is to rebuild the town and make a profit out of the locals and their daily problems.
