Gears of War: Reloaded and Hellblade II Enhanced Heads to Xbox Game Pass in August
Two exciting titles coming your way
Two first-party blockbusters are set to lead the Xbox Game Pass lineup next month, and both are bringing something fresh for longtime fans.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced arrives August 12 with a performance mode that adds smoother gameplay at 60 FPS. Xbox describes it as “a cinematic experience of immersion,” pushing real-time visuals to create richer environments and more lifelike characters.
The smoother frame rate should make a big difference during combat and fast-paced sequences. Next, on August 26, Gears of War: Reloaded joins the service. It’s a full remaster of the original Gears, now rebuilt in Unreal Engine and optimized for modern platforms.
According to Microsoft, it includes “all post-launch content for the original title, including a bonus campaign act, multiplayer maps, plus characters and cosmetics, at no additional cost.” So, what makes this release special, you must be wondering? It is the series’ first multiplatform console launch since it began in 2006.
