GTA 6 Leaks May Be Real as Rockstar Confirms Layoffs Over Information Leaks

gta 6 leaks true

GTA 6 remains the most anticipated game of all time, and its development has faced constant pressure from leaks. Despite Rockstar Games trying to keep information under wraps, several leaked claims have now proven accurate.

Here’s all the gameplay information that has been leaked so far

According to IGN, Rockstar recently confirmed that some of its employees were laid off due to the leaking of game information. Rockstar hasn’t stated it officially, but it believes the shared information was related to GTA 6.

Protagonists, gameplay structure, and world design

One confirmed leak revealed the last names of the two main protagonists, Jason and Lucia, which later turned out to be true. The same leaker claimed players can explore the open world as Jason alone, Lucia alone, or both together, expanding the system that we saw in GTA 5.

According to the leaks, GTA 6 will include more than 700 enterable stores and malls. Many of these locations will be rob-able, expanding player interaction across the game world.

New activities and removed features

Leaked information also mentioned expanded nightlife content. This includes male strippers and deeper club activities, suggesting more varied entertainment options compared to previous entries.

Not all leaked features survived development. The leaker stated that early concepts such as “warehouse robots” were reduced or removed as development progressed.

Vehicles, chapters, and story scope

Another claim suggests vehicle trunks will work similarly to horse storage in Red Dead Redemption 2. Players would store and retrieve weapons directly from their cars, streamlining loadout management.

The source also claimed GTA 6 will feature five chapters. Rockstar has not clarified whether this number includes a prologue or epilogue.

Rockstar has reportedly fired employees in the UK, US, and India after linking them to unauthorized GTA 6 disclosures. These actions suggest that at least some of the leaked information reflected real internal data.

Do keep in mind that Rockstar confirmed that leaks have occurred, but they haven’t officially confirmed that any information is true. If you’re excited about GTA 6 as much as we are, keep in mind that the game might get delayed, once again.
