GTA+ price change

GTA V is still rather popular, mostly due to GTA Online, and while the online mode is great, it does require a subscription on consoles.

However, it seems that the cost of a subscription just went up, and many gamers aren’t happy with it.

GTA+ price was just increased, but only for Xbox users

Bad news for GTA Online players, as the price for GTA+ was recently changed as Sportskeeda writes.

This was spotted by Tez2 on X, claiming that the price went up from $5.99 to $7.99 for Xbox Series X/S users. However, the price for PS5 users remains the same.

Gamers are outraged by this change, and many have voiced their concerns on Reddit:

ain’t gonna lie, gta+ is completely irrelevant now on xbox, 7.99 for these crappy benefits is a joke, and also why does this increase only apply to xbox?

Just rockstar things. But, some people still pruchase it.

I’ll rather do money exploits than paying for this scam.

So far, there hasn’t been an official statement from Microsoft or Rockstar, so we don’t know why has the price changed.

In other news, GTA 6’s launch schedule will negatively affect PC gamers, but looking at the recent GTA+ price change, PC still might be a better option in the long run.
