halo 7 leaked

The Halo franchise has been one of the most popular multiplayer shooters, but its popularity dwindled over the years.

We have some good news for Halo fans, as today we have a fresh leak that states that the franchise is going back to its roots.

Halo 7 will be based on Halo 5, leaks claim

This information comes from Pirat Nation on X and it states the direction of the Halo 7.

According to this information, Halo Infinite was a massive failure and everything done by this game will be scrapped.

Halo 7 will be based on Halo 5 gameplay and expand it further. This means that mechanics such as sprint, clamber, thrust, slide, and stabilization are making a comeback.

We’re also getting two new abilities called jet boost and wall run. Here’s a quick overview of all abilities:

  • Sprint is unlimited but if you get shot you’ll stop sprinting.
  • Clamber and slide are the same as in Halo 5.
  • Thrust lets you keep your momentum again.
  • Stabilization will let you float in the air while zooming in, and the float time is doubled.
  • Jet boost works as a double jump.

There is also a rumor that an ability that allows players to place portals is being tested, but it will probably be scrapped.

Stabilization float time has received negative feedback as well, so it will probably be reduced. Lastly, one multiplayer map is almost finished while others are still in the process of development.

This sounds exciting, but do keep in mind that this information comes from an unreliable source, so it might not be true at all.

In other news, Xbox is having an Activision Blizzard sale, so don’t miss some of the most popular multiplayer titles. As for new titles, rumor has it that DOOM: The Dark Ages will be revealed on the Xbox Games Showcase, so stay tuned for more information.
