horizon forbiden west cracked

We were all waiting for Horizon Forbidden West, and the game is finally here, however, we have some unfortunate news.

It seems the game was already cracked by hackers, and it’s being distributed on third-party websites.

Horizon Forbidden West was just released and it’s already cracked

We wrote about Horizon Forbidden West hardware requirements not that long ago, and the game has launched just as planned, for the most part.

As TheGamer writes, the PC version of Forbidden West was cracked just 30 seconds after it was launched. To achieve this, a special tool called Fairlight was used to bypass Steam’s protection.

This isn’t anything new for Sony ports, and Steam’s DRM is pretty basic and it can easily be bypassed.

This is unfortunate news for the developers and hopefully, this won’t affect the success of the game too much.

With the game’s release, Intel also released Intel Game On driver 31.0.101.5379 which improves the performance of the game, so be sure to get it.
