I am not a passionate of Windows 8 horror games or movies, but I know that there are plenty of aficionados in this world that would love to play a horror game on their Windows 8 tablet. Of course, the game comes with suspense action which makes it interesting to play.

Decay: The Mare has been previously released for desktop devices and other mobile handsets, and now it has made its way into the Windows Store for Windows 8 users, as well. The full version of the game is available for $3.49, but you can use the free trial to see if this is truly a Windows 8 horror game that deserves to be bought or not.

Scary horror game gets launched for Windows 8 users

A new psychological horror adventure game from the creators of the successful Decay series. Sam has ended up in an institution named “Reaching Dreams” to get rid of his drug addiction and his miserable life. But during the first night, something happens and he gets stuck in a nightmare that never seems to end.

The game has a little over 150 megabytes and is filed in the adventure games category. It features an “amazing atmosphere, art and music”, along with a scary and deep story. You will encounter challenging riddles and puzzles along your progress in the game, as you play as Sam who has ended up in an institution named “Reaching Dreams”. He tries to get rid of his drug addiction and his miserable life but he gets stuck in a nightmare that never seems to end.
