Fifa 20 is the latest in an extremely long-lived game series.
A whole new season is upon players, which means a whole new opportunity to make a name for themselves.
Of course, lots of players wait for new seasons to come so that they can take advantage of yet-unexplored market prices as a means to make in-game currency.
One of the best ways to do so is to perform if trading.
For those of you who don’t know IF trading is the act of buying In-Form players (players which are extremely popular this season), and reselling them at a higher price for profit.
How to make money through if trading?
You first need to pay attention to see which is the Team of the Week (TOTW) and try to figure out which player from it will be popular.
A large amount of cards of that type will then be placed on the market at an inflated price.
This works best when you have enough cards of the same type to fill an entire market page.
This is not exactly a fool-proof strategy, as it it relies on a buyer’s carelesness.
On e good example are those who use the console and do not take the time to search for the lowest price on players.
The buyers search the market and see all the players up at a set price and buy a player.
After seeing this, they end up thinking that must be his going rate.
Things to look out for to make IF trading effective
One thing you should also remember is to be aware of upcoming events and SBCS.
This is because they usually have an effect on any IFs you are holding or looking to buy.
You also need to already have some consistent capital to start off with.
This is so that you can afford the occasional mistake, such as a bad bulk buy.
The recommended amount varies but the common consensus is to have enough to buy an entire page’s worth of current IFs.
Because of the volatile nature of the market, any IF would theoretically rise in value at one point or another.
Unfortunately, this means an IF could be popular now, or just in a few months.
Thus, this method requires a high amount of patience.
Keep in mind that IF trading can also be used as a means to build capital to buy off a good Starter Team.
