Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus & Core Ultra 5 245K Price Drops on Amazon

If you are eyeing an Intel CPU for your next PC build, two Arrow Lake chips are looking more tempting. A new Amazon deal spotted by VideoCardz drops the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus to $264.99. The Core Ultra 5 245K is also down to $194.59. What makes these Amazon deals interesting is the fact that Intel recently increased the recommended pricing for the 270K Plus.

The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is back below launch pricing

The Intel Core Ultra 7 270K launched at $299 in March. Intel later raised its recommended customer price to between $339 and $349 in July.

At $264.99, Amazon’s current price sits around 11% below launch pricing. It is also roughly 22% to 24% below Intel’s revised range. The processor packs 24 cores, including eight P-cores and 16 E-cores. It can boost up to 5.5GHz with a 125W Processor Base Power rating.

The Core Ultra 5 245K is sitting at $194.59. It launched at $309 and now sits around 37% below its original price. The chip features 14 cores, including six P-cores and eight E-cores. It also supports the LGA-1851 platform and reaches up to 5.2GHz.

Intel is also throwing games into the mix

Intel has announced a new game promotion covering qualifying hardware (via Wccftech). The bundle includes STAR WARS: Galactic Racer and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, worth $119.98 combined. Not to forget, the offer runs from August 10 through September 13. Both processors are listed among the qualifying hardware. As of now, the current Amazon listing doesn’t mention the game promotion, so we advise you to check with Amazon or Intel.
