NBA 2K27 players are hitting connection problems

NBA 2K27 Early Access opened August 26 for eligible Deluxe and Ultra Edition owners. 2K confirmed the window begins at 9 a.m. PT, ahead of the September 4 launch. That timing makes the reports especially frustrating for players who paid for earlier access.

Given the 2K’s history on early access days, many Reddit users speculated in advance that servers could be offline for several hours.

NBA 2K HQ app is not working for many as well

NBA 2K HQ launched during the run-up to Early Access. The companion app lets players build MyPLAYER characters, manage Crews, and upload builds before playing NBA 2K27.

2K has already published troubleshooting guidance for NBA 2K HQ. It also addressed earlier problems, including loading issues and an iOS animation requirement bug.
