Azure Cosmos DB from Microsoft is a cloud database service and a fully managed NoSQL. Through it, you can access data quickly from anywhere. Also, you won’t have to worry about the server or storage systems. Microsoft Azure will manage the database while you focus on your work. Additionally, you can join the AI Learning Hackathon to experiment with the service and enhance your portfolio.

In addition, if you enter the AI Learning Hackathon, Microsoft Azure DB could help you win a part of the $10,000 prize.

Why should you use Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB?

Microsoft Azure Cosmos DB has plenty of benefits for its users besides the fully managed cloud database. For example, you only pay for what you use. So, you can build applications at low costs. Yet, the price of their management will grow with them. Also, there is a free version for small projects.

With the Azure database, you can use the power of AI to enhance your applications. Additionally, it can sort and organize different data, such as your preferences, product information, and vectors. Moreover, it will be easier for you to find what you need. Besides, it uses a serverless vector database to make your work more efficient.

The cloud service supports Copilot apps with NoSQL data and can generate queries. On top of that, Azure Cosmos DB works with various programming languages such as Python, Node.js, and Java. Also, it ensures that your AI applications are up to date, protects your data, and restores your data if needed.

Why should you participate in the AI Learning Hackathon?

The AI Learning Hackathon allows you to try free challenges and elevate your skills. Additionally, you can learn the basics of Azure Cosmos DB and Azure OpenAI service. On top of that, by the end of it, you will know how to use the tools to create an AI copilot for MongoDB. Also, you can join workshops and mentorship sessions.

The contest consists of 2 parts. The first part has four modules. During this phase, you will learn the basics of Azure Cosmos DB, Azure OpenAI service, and how to build copilots. The second part teaches you how to use Azure Cosmos DB to develop an AI copilot for MongoDB.

The challenges are available until June 18, 2024. After completing them, you will gain a badge for the hackathon.

In a nutshell, all you need to do is participate in the Azure Cosmos DB Developer Cloud Skills Challenge to learn more about the service and how to use it. Additionally, you can learn more from Azure specialists. Also, you can add more entries to your portfolio afterward. So, join the AI Learning Hackathon.
