Microsoft Inspire 2023 takes place this week on July 18-19, and the Redmond-based tech giant is making it all about AI. On the first day of the conference, AI was the main character, and Microsoft announced a lot of things AI-related.

Ai is really happening and it has really taken the world by storm in less than a year. And while AI models such as ChatGPT, Opera’s Aria, or the newest Claude 2 AI are helping people all over the world, it is Microsoft the one that is leading this specific topic.

The Redmont-based tech giant announced Azure OpenAI earlier this year, and it was generally available to the public ever since. But its corporate counterpart Azure OpenAI Service was announced by Microsoft as catering AI tools to organizations that want to leverage AI in their infrastructure.

Recently, Azure OpenAI Service was made available in the North America and Western Europe regions. And now, at the Microsoft Inspire 2023 conference, the Redmond-based tech giant announced Azure OpenAI Service will be available in Asia, as well.

Now, we’re bringing the service to more organizations around the world. Last week, we expanded access to Azure OpenAI Service, increasing its availability in North America and Western Europe, while making it available for Asia for the first time.

Azure OpenAI Service is the fastest-growing service in Azure history

According to Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President, Nicole Dezen, Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service is the fastest-growing service in Azure history, with more than 9,500 customers using the service.

9,100 Microsoft partners transacting on Azure AI, and more than 2,300 of them have transacted on the Azure OpenAI service. This means the corporate world and the business industry is efficiently adopting AI in their infrastructure, in less than a year.azure openai service

Microsoft conducted a study on this subject a while ago, and it found that 47% of small business owners see AI as a game changer. And according to the latest studies, 9 out of 10 leaders believe AI will give their organization the boost it needs on the market. Employees are not different, with 70% saying they would delegate as much work as possible to AI to lessen their workloads.

So with Azure OpenAI Service being available to so many regions now, AI can become a proper colleague and assistant to your work.
