Windows 11 brought a revamped user interface, and as a result, certain features had to be removed, and users weren’t happy.
This is why many have turned to third-party solutions such as Start11 to get them back. Speaking of which, the new update has been released, and it brings one missing feature back.
The latest Start11 update lets you auto-hide the Taskbar more easily
Start11 lets you pin websites to the Start Menu, but it also offers a wide array of other customization options, and according to the XDA Developers, the software just got better with a new update.
The update is filled with various bug fixes, and you can read the whole changelog on the Stardock forum post. Some quality-of-life improvements have been added as well, and one of them is the ability to quickly auto-hide the Taskbar.
To hide the Taskbar in Windows 11, you need to use the Settings app, but Start11 brings it to your fingertips. You can now hide or show the Taskbar right from its context menu.
The new update also brings you the option to set a tab as the default one in a group in the menu. It also adds Universal apps, and all apps as options for quick access shortcut menu links.
If you’re a Start11 user, this is a great update that brings much-needed quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes, so be sure to download it.
