Lenovo Expands ThinkPad T-Series with AI and Repairability Upgrades at MWC 2026
At the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Lenovo has unveiled the refreshed ThinkPad T-Series, which focuses on AI readiness, repairability, and platform flexibility. The 2026 update focuses on improvements for business fleets running Windows 11 Pro.
ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 & T16 Gen 5: Mainstream Workhorses, Modernized
Speaking of the latest T-series, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 continue to be the reliable enterprise staples, now with support for LPCAMM2 memory. Both models come with slimmer bezels, updated internal layouts, and enhanced hybrid collaboration features, including an optional 5MP camera with computer vision and vHDR.

These business laptops are performance powerhouses, with options spanning across Intel Core Ultra Series 3 with vPro and AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400 Series processors. Lenovo, in its announcement, has also focused on serviceability. These laptops come with easier bottom-cover access and expanded customer-replaceable components, which reduces downtime and extends lifecycle value.
ThinkPad T14s Gen 7: Lighter, Longer, Enterprise-Ready
The ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 is the lightest T-Series model, weighing roughly 1.1kg. The laptop comes with a new 58Wh high-density battery that supports extended unplugged productivity for mobile professionals. Available across Intel, AMD, and Snapdragon platforms, the T14s Gen 7 gives IT teams flexibility without compromising ThinkPad’s hallmark durability and enterprise standards.

ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2: Convertible with Enterprise DNA
The ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 extends the lineup with a lighter convertible design and an integrated garaged pen. Built for collaboration and presentation-driven workflows, it maintains the same serviceability and enterprise-grade security focus found across the T-Series.

Across the T-series enterprise portfolio, Lenovo has emphasized repairability, modular components, enhanced audio, and Calm Tech design principles to reduce user fatigue. With AI features now built directly into the latest processor options, the updated T-Series is designed to help businesses handle hybrid work more smoothly while gradually bringing AI into everyday tasks, both this year and in the years ahead.
