Lenovo’s Most Powerful ARM Chromebook Plus 14 Launches with AI Features 17-Hour Battery
Lenovo has unveiled the Chromebook Plus 14, its most powerful ARM-based Chromebook yet. It’s powered by MediaTek’s Kompanio Ultra 910 chip, with an NPU delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI performance.
The 14-inch Chromebook Plus comes with an OLED display (touch optional) and supports up to 16GB of RAM. Battery life is rated at up to 17 hours, which Lenovo claims is the longest on any Chromebook Plus to date.

The Chromebook is available in the US starting at $649 through Best Buy and Lenovo’s online store. Every purchase includes a one-year Google AI Pro subscription, normally valued at $240. Google is also rolling out exclusive features to this model:
- Smart Grouping: AI organizes open tabs and documents into clusters.
- Gallery AI tools: Remove image backgrounds, create stickers, and more.
Meanwhile, all Chromebook Plus models—including Lenovo’s—are getting broader AI updates today:
- Select to Search & Text Capture: Long-press the launcher or use screenshot tools to search or extract text from images.
- Quick Insert (QI) upgrades: Users can now generate images via AI.
- Simplify tool in Help Me Read: Breaks down complex content for easier understanding.
- NotebookLM pre-installed: Google’s research and note-taking tool is now built-in.
- Squid Game: Unleashed on desktop: Optimized with keyboard and mouse controls, plus exclusive in-game skins.
