How can I record a podcast on Mac?

1. GarageBand

1. Go to Applications and start GarageBand.
2. Select Empty Project > Microphone.
3. Now select your microphone input and click on Create.
4. Click the Record button to start recording. You can also use Command + R shortcut.
5. Once the recording is done, you can edit your audio as you want.
   
6. After your podcast is ready, click on Share > Export Song to Disk.
7. Select the save location and that’s it.

1. Download Audacity and install it.
2. Open Audacity.
3. Set the correct microphone from the toolbar.
4. If your sound settings are good, click the Record button and you’re good to go.
5. After the recording session is finished, you can edit the audio as needed.
   
6. Once you’re done, click on File > Export Audio.
7. Select the desired file type, save location, file name, and quality. Click the Save button to save changes.
