Meta Muse is coming to Windows, Microsoft confirms
Last month, Meta introduced Muse, its new personal AI agent designed to do more than simply answer questions. The company later brought Muse to the Mac as a native app, giving it access to things like files, messages, calendar, notes, and mail with the user’s permission.
Microsoft brings Meta Muse to Windows
Now, Microsoft is taking things a step further. During its Windows and Surface event in San Francisco, Windows and Surface chief Pavan Davuluri announced that Meta’s Muse is coming to Windows as a native app.
Microsoft did not reveal a release date yet, so Windows users will have to wait a little longer before they can try it. Still, the announcement is notable, especially as Microsoft continues to push Windows toward an ecosystem where different AI agents can work alongside Copilot.
The move also gives Meta another major desktop platform for Muse after the company launched its Mac app in September. Meta has been steadily expanding the agent across its ecosystem, with Muse designed to handle tasks rather than simply respond to questions.
For Microsoft, bringing Muse to Windows could also help strengthen its broader push around AI agents and hybrid intelligence. It remains unclear how deeply Muse will integrate with Windows features, but more details could emerge closer to launch.
