Meta Takes Its AI Agents to the Enterprise With New Meta Enterprise Platform

Meta is making a serious push into the enterprise AI market. The company has announced Meta Enterprise Platform, a new business focused on bringing its AI models, agents, infrastructure and developer tools directly to companies.

Meta wants businesses to use its full AI stack

Meta says the new platform will initially bring products including Muse, Meta Business Agent, Muse API and Muse Code to businesses and developers. The goal is to help companies use Meta’s AI technology to grow, transform their operations and serve customers.

Mark Zuckerberg says Meta believes superintelligence will create significant opportunities for businesses, while pointing to the company’s existing reach across billions of users and hundreds of millions of businesses.

The company is also putting a new executive in charge of the effort. Chirantan “CJ” Desai is joining Meta as Chief Enterprise Platform Officer and will report directly to Zuckerberg. Desai joins from MongoDB, where he served as CEO and President. Before MongoDB, he held leadership roles at Cloudflare and ServiceNow, including President and COO.

Desai says Meta Enterprise Platform will turn the company’s AI stack into products and services that organizations can deploy for their own operations.

Security and privacy will also be built into the enterprise products from the beginning, according to Meta. The company says its experience working with millions of advertisers and hundreds of millions of businesses gives it a foundation for taking its AI technology into enterprise environments.

Meta hasn’t announced specific pricing or availability details for the new enterprise platform in today’s announcement.
