Microsoft Adds XBOX Handheld Support to 40 More PC Games

Microsoft has expanded XBOX handheld support to 40 more PC games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Guilty Gear Strive, and Wuthering Waves, as TrueAchievements reports.
The update arrives during a busy week for XBOX, with more than 40 games scheduled to launch across the platform. Microsoft has also confirmed five games for the August XBOX Game Pass lineup.
35 games receive handheld-optimized status
Microsoft has marked 35 of the newly updated games as handheld-optimized. These titles should provide a suitable handheld experience without requiring players to make major graphics or control adjustments.
The full list of new handheld-optimized games includes:

Five games receive handheld-compatible labels
Five additional games have received handheld-compatible status. These games can run on supported handheld devices, although players may need to adjust settings or controls.
The newly compatible games are:
- Bobobby 3D: Stranded Rush (Windows)
- ChainStaff
- Drug Dealer Simulator 2
- PGA Tour 2K25
- Shy Dogs Hidden Orchestra 2
XBOX handheld catalog continues to grow
The latest update adds major releases and smaller indie games to the XBOX handheld catalog. Several of the optimized titles are also available through XBOX Game Pass, giving subscribers more games that should run on XBOX Ally devices without extensive configuration.
