Microsoft Announces OneDrive & Copilot Digital Event for October 20

The month of October seems packed for Microsoft. The company has scheduled a major Windows and Surface event on October 7. But that’s not all; turns out Microsoft also has its fourth annual OneDrive + Copilot Digital Event scheduled for October 20.

OneDrive and Copilot is getting its own October spotlight

Yesterday, the company announced that its fourth annual OneDrive + Copilot Digital Event will take place on October 20 at 9:00 AM PT. The free online event will focus on the latest developments across OneDrive and Copilot.

Microsoft says the OneDrive event will include product demonstrations and discussions with executives and members of the OneDrive team. Jeff Teper, Adam Harmetz and OneDrive head Arwa Tyebkhan will be among the speakers, alongside product leaders, engineers and other experts.

The company is positioning the event around files, photos, collaboration and the changing role of OneDrive inside Microsoft 365. Microsoft says attendees will get a closer look at new experiences and how the service is evolving, followed by a live Q&A with the OneDrive team.

Microsoft is promising actual product demonstrations, although it has not yet revealed exactly which new OneDrive features will be shown.

Microsoft will kick off October with Windows and Surface

The first major event will kick off on October 7 in San Francisco. Microsoft says the showcase will focus on how local AI will shape the next chapter of the PC, with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Windows and Surface chief Pavan Davuluri and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang set to take part.

Microsoft may also discuss Windows, Surface and the wider PC ecosystem during the event. The company has also mentioned discussion and showcase around NVIDIA RTX Spark.
