microsoft build 2025

We’re already in February, so Microsoft is preparing for a new Build edition. The conference, which usually takes place each year in May, now has a date: May 19-22, 2025, according to a post made by the Redmond-based tech giant on X.

As always, the event will be offline and online, and possibly many of its workshops can be attended both ways. However, Microsoft has yet to release additional information.

What to expect? Well, your usual AI trends, first and foremost. Microsoft will most likely talk about the future of AI in Windows and the rest of its products, possible new Surface laptops and devices, and new capabilities.

However, the future of Windows might also be discussed. Windows 12? Windows 25H2? We’ll have to wait and see. It would be the time: in June, Windows 11 will officially turn 4, and while it’s still young, it will be the only supported Windows version on the market, followed by Windows 10’s retirement this October.

So, our guesses for the key topics at the Microsoft Build 2025 are AI, Windows, and new Surface devices. Maybe new capabilities are coming to Microsoft 365, as well. We’ll see.

Are you excited for it?
