Microsoft Clipchamp, the native video editing tool from the Redmond-based tech giant, is available as a product as part of the 365 Suite and will get a light mode theme and improvements to make video editing easier.
According to a recent entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Microsoft plans to add these new features and improvements to Clipchamp in February next month. The video editing experience will be simplified, and the Redmond-based tech giant will also increase the space on the stage to allow users a better view when working on videos.
At the same time, they can choose from a Light or Dark mode in Microsoft Clipchamp, moving onwards.
Here’s what the entry says:
This change will simplify the Clipchamp editing experience and increase the space you have on the stage to make great videos. We’re also introducing light mode as a new option for people to choose whether they view the Clipchamp editor in a Light or Dark scheme.
The light theme will be available in Microsoft Clipchamp for the Web and the Desktop app.
Speaking of Microsoft Clipchamp, there is reason to believe the platform might soon allow users to create shoppable videos. We recently spotted a technology Microsoft patented a few years ago and published a few weeks ago.
