microsoft dynamics 365 price hike

After more than five years, Microsoft will hike the prices for its Dynamics 365 subscriptions starting in October 2024. This aligns with the recent price rise trend where services across industries, including gaming and entertainment, have become costlier.

In the official blog post, Bryan Goode, Corporate Vice President, Business Applications and Platform, attributed the change in pricing to a wider feature set made available to Microsoft Dynamics 365 users over the last few years.

We have delivered on this through innovations that have helped organizations supercharge customer experiences with AI-powered, real-time customer insights for marketers, sellers, and service agents; as well as by optimizing operations and mission-critical processes with data insights, supply chain visibility, and end-to-end automation of financial processes. And today, we are seeing organizations of all sizes across industries benefit from Microsoft Copilot in Dynamics 365.

Price comparison before and after the hike for individual products

The new Microsoft Dynamics 365 prices, effective from October 1, 2024, for new and old subscribers, apply across all products, barring the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and other non-listed products. As for other currencies, the hike and new prices will be comparable!

Besides, the new prices won’t come into effect right away for US government users. Initially, on October 1, 2024, there will be a 10% hike, followed by the remaining amount on October 1, 2025.

Microsoft has given roughly six months to Microsoft Dynamics 365 users to absorb the price change and take suitable measures if required.

Early this year, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Nuvei’s ERP release made it to the news!

If you are unsure about the updated prices, discover recent features in Dynamics 365 or check the upcoming releases in the Release Planner. Or perhaps consider using the 1-month Dynamics 365 free trial!
