Key notes

  • The latest Edge Dev Channel build has arrived although there are no major changes to it.
  • Microsoft did add two new features that are related to offering support to a management policy for Chromium.
  • The Reverse Image Search in Bing Sidebar is another interesting feature one of the Dev insiders have spotted it.
  • We do expect a new release to happen soon and hopefully, it will come with more major changes than this one.
Edge Insider build errors fixed

The most recent release build for Edge Dev Channel does not come with major changes to take note of, although the version number did changed to 92.0.873.1.

In the release Microsoft mentioned about the list of improvements made for Windows Task Manager and other recently added features.

The improved reliability by fixing random crashes of certain websites when sending feedback or simply playing videos were also mentioned in this release.

Edge version 92 in the Dev Channel

There are only two major features that are being reminded in the post, and that is the enabled support for a management policy from Chromium to control if Shared Array Buffer Unrestricted Access is Allowed.

Additionally, another new feature was the support for a management policy that will allow Chromium to control wether or not Headless Mode is Enabled.

Let’s not forget though about the Reverse Image search in Bing Sidebar that insiders have already spotted being active and available to test.

Although the release of Edge Dev version 92 did not come with so many changes we do hope that the next one will come soon and with important updates.

As always, don’t hesitate to leave us a comment in the dedicated section below. We would love to read any thoughts you might have on the subject.
