Microsoft Edge

In the new preview build of Microsoft Edge for iOS, Microsoft introduced the two changes for users. Build version 42.11.0 was announced a few days ago. In this new build, users are able to view the saved passwords and usernames of the visited sites from Edge.

Edge is a browser by Microsoft for Windows 10, Android and iOS. Like other browsers, Edge saves the password and username for the sites that require to log in. Next time you visit that site, it will fill in the credentials.

Though Edge saved user credentials, it did not allow iOS users to view the saved passwords and usernames. Previously, iOS users could only delete the saved password from Edge for sites.

However, this new build offers iOS devices to view the saved usernames and passwords for the websites. Formerly, this feature was available on Windows devices.

The other improvement in the latest build is about cookies management. The last update offered the choice to only enable or disable cookies, but the latest version offers three options to manage the cookies.

These are:

  • Always block
  • Allow from websites I visit
  • Always Allow

If you are an iOS user, you can access these changes by going to Settings and then to the Privacy menu.
