Microsoft Edge for Android already supports somme popular extensions, including ad blockers. However, UBlock Origin or the Lite version with Manifest v3 support is missing from that list. Microsoft is quietly rolling out UBlock Origin Lite to the Edge Android release version in some countries, such as India and the USA. We can confirm the extension is available in Edge 136 release and can be installed and used without any issue.

You can now Install UBlock Origin Lite Extension in Microsoft Edge on Android

It’s worth noting that Microsoft Edge mobile itself comes with a built-in ad blocker, AdBlock Plus. You can enable it by visiting Settings > Privacy and Security > Block Ads. But it’s not available for us there to enable. So, this could be a bug, or we need to wait and see if Microsoft restores the built-in ad blocker, ABP, in Edge.

You can check and install UBO Lite by visiting the Settings menu > Extensions and tapping the Get button for UBO Lite. Do let us know in the comments below if it is available to you or not.

Apart from rolling out UBO Lite for some, Microsoft Edge may soon ask at startup to set its as default Android Browser App.
