Microsoft decided to entirely deprecate the Edge Support Page, as seen on the official changelog for the Build 132.0.2957.26 to the Beta Channel. According to the Redmond-based tech giant, this is done to improve the user experience, and edge://support will no longer exist.
However, its information will be available on other pages, such as edge://version, edge://metrics-internals, edge://extensions, and edge://policy.
Without the Microsoft Edge Support Page, you’ll need four times the work to set up your Edge browser.
Deprecation of Microsoft Edge Support page. To improve end user experience, edge://support is being deprecated. The information found on edge://support is available on other pages: edge://version, edge://metrics-internals, edge://extensions, and edge://policy.
On the other hand, this build will also bring the AI theme generator to Microsoft Edge. Announced earlier this year, the new tool will allow users to use their imagination and generate a series of images that can be used to create a browser theme.
With it, Microsoft is also introducing a new entry in Settings called edge://settings/appearance, allowing users to customize and set up the AI theme generator properly. It’s worth noting that this capability is being rolled out in a controlled fashion.
