Xbox achievements are finally coming back to the Xbox apps for iOS and Android. Microsoft announced the good news earlier today on Twitter, though be aware that this will be a gradual rollout that could last a couple of weeks, according to Xbox Social Media Manager Josh Stein.

Microsoft redesigned its Xbox mobile apps last fall ahead of the release of the Xbox Series X and Series S, but the apps dropped support for Achievements as well as many social features such as Xbox Live Clubs, and Looking for Group posts. Since Microsoft basically invented game achievements with the Xbox 360, omitting them from its new Xbox mobile apps was quite surprising, to say the least.

Even though the new Xbox apps for iOS and Android are still a bit barebones right now, they do support new features such as Xbox Remote Play, which allows players to stream any games installed on their consoles. Another cool addition in the app is the ability to start downloading on your console any game from the Xbox Store, and that even works for games you don’t own yet.

If you have yet to download Microsoft’s Xbox mobile apps, you can do so using the links below. On Android, there’s also a beta version of the app that you can install alongside the regular Xbox app if you want to get early access to new features.
