Copilot stop button

According to a recent entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Microsoft will finally enhance Copilot with a Stop button.

The Stop button will be added to Copilot in Teams. This lets you stop its response before it starts or while it’s generating. After stopping, you can give a new prompt if you want.

Here’s what the entry says:

Copilot in Teams will now have a ‘stop’ button after sending a prompt. This will allow the user to stop Copilot’s response either before the response has started to generate, or even after the response is generating. The user may then start a new prompt if they wish.

The new button will be added to Copilot in Teams starting in April. If it’s a success, Microsoft will most likely expand the button beyond Teams.

Speaking of Copilot, the Redmond-based tech giant is working hard as the company is developing new ways to promote the AI model. Now, it’s showing up on Bing when searching for other AI models, and you can even spot it on the browser’s Settings page.
