Microsoft is offering free headphones and Office 365 for the Surface Book line

Apple has decided to remove the useful headphone jack from its expensive devices. In other words, you will need to purchase an expensive add-on in order to connect your headphones to these new devices. These new headphones, also called AirPods, cost $159 and it seems that there are already a few complaints about them.

On the other hand, Microsoft is actually “rewarding” customers who are purchasing the Surface Book with some free headphones. However, this is not something new, as Microsoft has done this before, when the Surface Pro 4 was released with the “Office 365 + Master & Dynamic ME05 Earphones” offer.

In other words, if you purchase a Surface Book, you will be able to use the “Office 365 personal” package for free, for one year, for one Windows PC, a Mac or a tablet. This pack allows you to use Microsoft’s tools such as PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Excel, Word and a subscription for Skype Unlimited. It is good to know that this offer is available for any Surface Book, which means that you will not be forced to purchase an expensive version of it to take advantage of this deal.

Unfortunately, you will not get access to extras such as Surface Dock, Surface Arc Mouse or a Monitor as you get on higher-end versions that come with 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM. So, if you want to get these extras, you will be “forced” to purchase an expensive version of the Surface Book.

We remind you that this deal has started on September 8, 2016 and it will end on September 21, 2016. This means that you have less than two weeks to take advantage of it.

What are your thoughts about the Surface Book? Are you tempted to purchase this device because of the “Office 365 + Master & Dynamic ME05 Earphones” offer?
