Whenever you conduct a search for a chat message in Microsoft Teams and click on the result you are looking for, you will be redirected to a view that only features the selected message. At times, this may present a difficult situation as users may be unable to the context of the message as it is singled out and no background information is provided to establish some clarity.

But this is about to change as Microsoft is currently working on a feature tagged ID 97510 in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap that will let users view the full chat conversation thread after clicking on search message results. In turn, this will make it easier for users to track their conversations easily and refer to conversations and previous messages revolving around the searched message. We are likely to see this feature hit general availability sometime in October this year for both Windows and Mac users.

In other related news, Microsoft recently launched Teams Rooms Pro, a platform designed to provide an integrated experience and bridge the gap between physical and digital workspaces at $40 per month, it also comes with a one-month free trial.
