KB5038603

The Redmond-based tech giant released KB5038603 last week, the first build to the Dev channel in a while. A week later, Microsoft decided to update the Dev Channel with new updates now available to all Windows Insider program members.

First, there is the new Microsoft Store update. You will see this improvement if your version is 22406.xxxx.x or later. As you look for content in the Store Search box, there is now a fresh fly-out at the end recommending content that interests you.

It feels like having a small assistant show you around the big ocean of apps and games. According to the updated blog post, the new update will make it very simple to navigate the various game categories. This function is being tried in the US, UK, and CA. So, if you are from these places, this works for you.

The Paint app also received an update. For people in the Canary and Dev Insider channels, an interesting update is coming for Paint (version 11.2406.34.0 and newer). This fresh update brings in pen back button eraser support, allowing smooth toggling between drawing and erasing.

Moreover, using the pen support lasso select feature lets you swiftly select anything on the canvas through the side button of your stylus pen.

The twist in this tale is that they didn’t mention when all Windows 11 users will get these updates, but they will most likely get them in the following months.

The new modifications enhance the user experience and simplify navigating the system. What do you think about them? Let us know in the comments section below.
