Windows 11 Calendar Flyout Clock

Microsoft is reintroducing the calendar flyout clock feature in the notification center to address a long-standing request from Windows 11 users.

This update, currently available in the latest Windows 11 preview builds, allows users to display the time alongside the calendar in the notification center.

The feature had been a staple in Windows 10 but was notably absent in Windows 11, leading to user frustration.

The new option, “Show time in Notification Center,” will enable users to toggle the clock display on or off. Tech enthusiast @phantomofearth spotted it.

This addition is part of Microsoft’s broader efforts to refine the Windows 11 user experience, including a redesigned Start menu and customizable widgets.

The calendar flyout clock is expected to enhance productivity by providing quick access to time and date information without relying on third-party applications, and it should soon roll out to Windows 11 users.
