Support for Mobile Application Management (MAM) will be available at the same time as the release of the Windows app on Android.

This means that when the Windows app on Android is ready for use, the features for managing mobile apps will also be ready, allowing managers to set them up and sync them to the organization’s infrastructure.

Microsoft says this new policy will be generally available starting March 2025.

Mobile Application Management (MAM) support GA will be aligned with Windows App on Android GA.

Speaking of the Windows App, many IT admins agree that Microsoft should have named it differently, as they find it challenging to research solutions for the platform’s issues online. Previously named Remote Desktop Client, the Windows App was released last year to rebrand the service.
