Microsoft’s new Surface Go 2 and Surface Earbuds might have only just gone on sale yesterday, but the software giant is already pushing new firmware updates for its new devices. The Surface Go 2’s first firmware updates aim to improve both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and here’s what you should be seeing in Windows Update:

  • Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz – Network Adapters: improve connection reliability.
  • Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) – Bluetooth: improve connection reliability.

Microsoft’s Surface Earbuds are also getting their first firmware update with audio quality and stability improvements, as well as pairing and connection improvements. Those of you who have already purchased the Surface Earbuds will need to download the Surface Audio app for Android, iOS, or Windows 10 to download the firmware version

Microsoft’s Surface Go 2 can be purchased for $399.99 on the Microsoft Store, while the Surface Earbuds are currently priced at $199.99. The new Earbuds are much more affordable than the original Surface Headphones, and we plan to review them really soon.
