At the end of February this year, we’ve seen RCS & RDS network launch in Romania their official Digi Online Windows 8 App. Romanian Windows 8 users now have a new app – the official MyEnel app to manage your account and pay your bills with the electricity provider. Below are more details
Those of you who have installed the Android version of MyEnel will notice that the Windows 8 application comes with exactly the same structure. I tried searching the Windows Store on my browser to offer you a download link, but somehow I wasn’t able to find it. So, I’m afraid that you’ll just have to go to the Windows Store for yourself and just type there “enel” or “MyEnel” and you should be able to find it. Of course, the app is absolutely free to download and is perhaps the easiest and most comfortable way to manage your account with the Enel electricity provider.

By using the official MyEnel app for Windows 8, you can view invoices, track your payments and the evolution of your electricity consumption evolving. The app also comes with a history of indexes, and lets you even submit the index during the reading period, which is usually between the 25th and 5th of the next month. However, the app does come with some glitches and mainly the fact that in the bills section you will see that the status for some of them is “unpaid” even if you’re sure you have paid them.
The app also has contact numbers where you can reach Enel, news relevant to Enal, promotions and other offers. A really cool feature is that you can have a look at how the weather is going to be for the next days. To be able to use the app, you will just have to login with the same username and password that you have used to login to their website, as well.
