New Arc Raiders Update Brings Major Gameplay Fixes, Vanguard Set, and More

The latest Arc Raiders update is officially live, and it addresses some of the most problematic bugs players have dealt with since the Flashpoint drop. Embark Studios delayed its patch 1.23.0 by a single day, but the update is now rolling out across all platforms. This patch tackles major combat glitches, fixes map exploits, and finally adds the highly anticipated Vanguard armor set to the store.

The update fixes a handful of gameplay bugs

If you kept firing your weapon by accident while switching items in the game, you will be glad to know that the glitch is gone. The patch also stops a bug where placing two Trigger ‘Nades next to each other caused them to deal triple damage. Camera locking during shoulder swaps is resolved, and players can no longer cheat the dispersion penalty on the Anvil Splitter.

You also cannot place barricades on ziplines anymore. Additionally, Rocketeer enemies will now play their correct combat alert sound instead of the wrong audio cue.

Various map-related issues have also been fixed

A few glaring map issues are patched out. Over in Stella Montis, players will no longer catch on fire outside the Medical Research locked room. The developers also closed a loophole there where you could get shot through the floor. Missing staircases in Buried City are back, and code printers during the Locked Gate objective will respond as intended.

This update also cleans up the Close Scrutiny map condition. Assessor platforms no longer break if you spam prompts, and summoned enemies will actually leave the area if they stay idle for too long.

The much-awaited Vanguard set is finally here

The heavily armored Vanguard set is finally available to buy. It features a tactical ballistic helmet and face shield to give your raider a heavy survivalist look. The base cosmetic costs 1,300 coins by itself. If you want the full bundle, it will cost you 1,600 coins in total.
