NVIDIA has partnered with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR to create new financing platforms for AI compute infrastructure. The initiative could eventually mobilize more than $500 billion in third-party capital.

According to NVIDIA, the platforms aim to help customers finance costly AI infrastructure projects, including large GPU deployments.

NVIDIA targets more than $500 billion in capital

The financing could support frontier AI labs, enterprises, and AI cloud providers that rely on NVIDIA hardware.

However, the $500 billion figure does not represent an immediate investment commitment. NVIDIA and the six financial institutions have signed memorandums of understanding to establish dedicated pools of capital.

Qualifying NVIDIA customers could eventually access those funds to finance AI infrastructure projects. The partnerships still require final agreements, and NVIDIA has not disclosed specific financing rates or terms.

AI computing becomes easier to finance

NVIDIA says the financing platforms could help customers deploy large amounts of AI compute without paying the entire infrastructure cost upfront.

CEO Jensen Huang said AI compute increasingly operates as a revenue-generating asset. NVIDIA also pointed to its broad adoption, support for different AI models and workloads, and the CUDA software ecosystem as reasons investors could view its infrastructure as a long-term asset.

The company expects the financing model to help customers build larger AI factories and expand compute capacity faster.

NVIDIA could benefit from larger AI deployments

Easier financing could allow companies to purchase more NVIDIA GPUs, networking products, and software while reducing the upfront cost of major deployments.

That gives NVIDIA another way to support infrastructure growth without directly supplying all the required capital.

The move comes as NVIDIA continues expanding across multiple parts of its business. RTX 50 retail prices keep rising, while a new mod lets users access a full desktop on GeForce NOW.

Meanwhile, leaked NVIDIA RTX Spark benchmark results suggest the company is also preparing increasingly powerful hardware for local AI workloads.
