OneDrive search broken for some users across platforms

If your OneDrive search isn’t turning up the files you know are there, you’re not imagining it. Microsoft has confirmed a new bug affecting search in OneDrive on Windows, iOS, Android, and the Web. macOS appears to be unaffected.

The issue shows users blank or missing results, even though the files still exist in storage. That means you might need to dig through your folders manually to find what you’re looking for.

This isn’t a universal issue. According to Microsoft, it only affects “a subset of users.” Unfortunately, there’s no fix or workaround right now.
