OpenAI may be preparing a new science-focused version of ChatGPT, according to references reportedly discovered in the platform’s web build.

The feature, called “ChatGPT for Science,” appears to be under active testing, though OpenAI has not officially announced it or confirmed how it will be offered to users.

At this stage, it remains unclear whether ChatGPT for Science will be available to all subscribers or limited to approved scientific organizations. Early indications suggest the service could be restricted to verified universities, research institutes, and other scientific institutions.
