Origin has launched The EON15-S, its newest gaming laptop running on Windows 10.

The EON15-S is a budget laptop and this means that it doesn’t necessarily bring the latest and the greatest gaming specs, but still it includes some great features that are going to offer players quite an impressive performance.

Origin EON15-S features

The EON15-S is designed to be light and capable of running various games, but it can also help users on their programming assignment. The company says that the laptop will ensure the best quality and high performance. The chassis is 1.05-inch think and it weighs 5.08 pounds so you can set it up easily.

Power and performance

With the EON15-S you’re not going to have to sacrifice quality PC gaming experience. You’ll power your games and software with Intel 7th gen Core processors – Intel Core i7 7700HQ with 2.8GHz of quad-core processing. You’ll be able to hit a processing speed of 3.8GHz thanks to the Turbo Boost. The EON15-S is built on the Intel HM175 Express Chipset.

Graphics

The laptop is powered by NVIDIA’s GTX GeForce 1050 Ti (4GB) and the NVIDIA Pascal 10-Series graphics card supports DirectX 12 for an amazing gameplay. You’ll get an incredible 1080p desktop class performance. The EON15-S is capable of outputting a maximum number of 3 external monitors using two Mini DisplayPort outputs and one HDMI output; you’ll be able to connect it to a TV, projector or even set up a multi-monitor battle.

The EON15-S can run VR games, VR software and 360-degree videos.

Memory and storage

The laptop supports 32GB of DDR4 RAM with speeds up to 2400MHz. You can store your data on a 2.5-inch SATA SSD and on an m.2 PCle SSD for up to 6TB of storage.

It features multiple USB ports including one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type C port, and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type A ports.

Portability

The Evo15-S offers mobile power users Intel Dual Band Wireless Networking, Bluetooth 4.1, and a Killer E2400 LAN.

Custom design

You can choose a traditional panel with the ORIGIN PC logo for a sleek look or you can go with a custom laser etched design of your own choice.

Price

You can find the EON15-S at the budget price of $999.

For a budget laptop, it seems you’re going to get more than a decent gaming experience from Origin’s EON15-S.
