[UPDATE] Outlook & Other Microsoft 365 Services Are Down Right Now in Some Regions

[UPDATE: May 13, 2026 | 21:24 IST] In the latest update on X, Microsoft has noted, “We’ve identified a portion of our network infrastructure in South America that was causing intermittent disruption to other regional network links. We’ve scaled up and brought additional resources online, and our telemetry indicates that this has mitigated impact. We’ll continue to monitor and take additional corrective actions if they are needed.”

[UPDATE: May 13, 2026 | 20:37 IST] Microsoft has shared an update on X saying it has “identified a network connection issue in South America affecting connections for users hosted primarily in that region.”

[ORIGINAL STORY] If you live in South America and have been facing issues accessing Outlook or other Microsoft 365 services, Microsoft has an update for you. The company took to its Microsoft 365 Status account on X to acknowledge that it is aware of the issue and is currently investigating it.
