Overwatch

Overwatch is a multiplayer class-based action shooter developed by Blizzard Entertainment, and it is the most popular game of its kind at this moment that is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
The gameplay is match-based, meaning that once two teams have started a match, they cannot log out until it is finished, or else the players will suffer penalties that can even culminate in a permanent account ban.
Being a class-based shooter, you gain control over one hero that can use a set of unique abilities to aid him in battle, besides the standard weapon that he has. More so, the game is very rich in lore, with new characters, maps, and backstories being added regularly, allowing players to better connect to their avatars.
In order to download and play Overwatch, all you need to have is a battle.Net account, and also have the Battle.Net client installed.
Note: Overwatch for PC cannot be accessed via other game distribution platforms, like Steam or GOG.
