As announced a few days ago, Rematch is now available on Xbox Game Pass. It’s a day-one release for both PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers starting today, June 19, 2025.

The game combines frantic movement, competitive action, and unique roles that make each position—from striker to goalkeeper—fun to play. While the gameplay holds up well, early sessions have shown some server issues.

Not to forget, lag can affect the experience, but it hasn’t stopped players from enjoying casual games with friends. For now, it’s a solid pick for Xbox Game Pass members, though some might want to wait for server improvements before diving in deeply.

It’s worth noting that Rematch does not include crossplay at launch. So Xbox players can’t yet squad up with friends on PS5 or PC. That feature is planned for a future update.

Achievement hunters will find a relatively easy completion list, with an estimated 20–30 hours needed. Most achievements can be earned quickly, especially by setting up custom games with friends. Only a few, like the one for reaching level 30, require more of a grind.
